Our hospital

Newcastle Private Hospital is a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park.

The hospital has 11 theatres including a hybrid theatre and a 15 bed Intensive Care Unit. It also has a cardiac suite including a cardiac catheter laboratory and a 16 bed Coronary Care Unit. A private maternity suite including 6 birthing suites and a special care baby nursery is available for families in the Newcastle region. We are also an integrated, multidisciplinary cancer service, offering chemotherapy and immunotherapies for both inpatients and outpatients in our 9 chair infusion centre and dedicated 10 bed oncology ward.
